We have officially kicked off the 2018 Row by Row Experience! Some of you have your plans all made - you know what rows you want and have mapped out your route! And the rest of you are thinking what the heck is Row by Row, am I right? Not to worry - we're here to fill you in! Row by Row Experience began in 2011 in New York State with just 20 quilt shops. We wrapped up the Around the Kitchen quilt block contest last week! We want to say a big thank you to everyone that participated. Your projects blew us away! There is nothing better than seeing such talented people take our pattern and make it there own. Can we just tell you that picking the winners is our least favorite part? It is so hard to choose! I really enjoy cooking, baking and canning, so a new apron seemed like a fun idea. I decided to make the jar block for a pocket and chose fabrics to echo the vintage blue glass canning jars I have in my...

We've got more Around the Kitchen projects to share with you today! It's so hard for me to choose a favorite block in this pattern - they all hold a special place in my heart I guess! But for the project I had in my head I narrowed it down to just the jars. My idea was to use two similar shades of grey solid fabric to try to give the illusion of the jars being half full (or half empty, depending on the jar and your perspective). The jars are full of some of my favorite floral fabrics. Before...
