MT Market Bag FREE Pattern

Do you have a stash of fat quarters just begging to be used in a fun project that will show off their awesomeness? Look no further - the MT Market Bag is the one for you. All it requires is 6 fat quarters and thread.

Sew you wanna know how much time it's going to take?

About 2 hours, including the cutting time

Finished product size: Approximately 20" x 20" (not including handle)

Tips to avoid the dreaded seam ripper:

-Fire up that iron, you'll need it to keep things straight! Iron in the same direction for all seams - it'll help keep in the long run.

-Have a large table or open space to lay this out, you'll want to move the bag as little as possible when folding and pinning.

-Don't skip clipping the V on both sides of this bag, just don't clip any stitches

Maybe you don't have fat quarters to use, but plenty of scraps - this could be a fun way to use them up in an afternoon!

You can always buy fat quarter bundles in the shop too!

My Market Bags have been coast to coast in the last year. From Washington D.C to Washington state. Not to mention internationally to Toronto. I can not believe how perfect this pattern is. Love it!
