New Pattern Release!

We are excited to get to share our latest pattern with you today! It's called The Quilted Dinghy and Life Jacket and it's absolutely adorable! Our pattern includes detailed, illustrated instructions as well as full size paper patterns to create both the boat and the life jacket. The Life Jacket pattern is sized to fit a softie made from our Simple Softie Kit, but actually fits any sort of doll or stuffed animal that might need to practice safe boating habits! It is such a fun accessory for your softie or American Girl doll. And so easy, there's no reason not to make them for all the toys!

The Quilted Dinghy is just that - a small boat made from quilted canvas and lined in fun quilting cotton. The boat is finished with a bias tape edge that also adds structure. Two layers of batting quilted with canvas also give the boat some heft without making it to stiff or "crispy". Twill tape loops on the front bow and the back help encourage creative play: pull the boat behind your favorite truck, or hook up some adventurous skiers to the back! The boat goes together in a flash and will make the big and small boat enthusiasts in your life very happy.
