Primary Pattern Tester Showcase

Primary Pattern Tester Showcase

The Primary Quilt is a modern pattern based around a basic block construction, that truly packs a punch when used with bold fabrics. I had some hiccups with the original pattern - but these testers were real troopers and rallied around me to bring this pattern to life. Please join me in thanking all of the wonderful pattern testers that worked with me on developing the Primary Quilt pattern!

What's great about having testers work through a pattern before release is that they already are introducing pattern hacks for you all to use!

Charlotte, made a 40"x50" quilt (this is between the baby and throw size). Using all the grays with a pop of red, really plays a wonderful trick on your eyes. The straight line quilting that is incorporated in this is gorgeous!

Jo, made a throw size with this fantastic color selection. So stunning and the choice of quilting pattern really give this a classy feel!

Kelly, made a twin size and used up some of the leftover blocks and fabric to make up the backing!

Deb, made a baby size quilt - but added sashing for a larger size - what a soothing color selection for a new bundle of joy to be welcomed with.

Emma, made a throw size that is to die for! She also used up spare blocks to make a beautiful looking back! What better weather than a snow storm to curl up with a new quilt?

Susie, made a great throw size the red really pops off the dark colored background. I think the a dark background Primary Quilt is in my future!

Lee, made two sizes, one is the throw size and the other being the baby quilt, both turned out beautifully. She even had extra blocks to make another project. This is a classic project that can be sued with all varieties of fabrics. Just beautiful!

Laura, made a wonderful baby quilt with patterned color fabric and solid background. I'm loving the low volume fabrics she chose. Her points are perfection and I can't wait to see when this quilt top is complete!

Erin, is a first time quilter and is still working on the quilt - but here is a place holder for now of a beautiful 9 block that she has completed of the pattern so far. The gray scale just looks stunning in the fabrics she chose. Can't wait to see what the finished project looks like!

Clarissa, wait for an update on this post to see her quilt - I'm sure it'll be a show stopper!
