Introducing the 90's Style Pipeline Quilt! I am so pumped with how electric this quilt looks. In the upcoming weeks I'll show you a softer version that I've been keeping under the radar and it is equally cool! Keep reading to learn more about the 90's style Pipeline Quilt.
I am in love with how the Moda Bella Solids came together for this Pipeline quilt! I used Parakeet, Chrysanthemum and Electric Lemon for the colors (all which are available in the shop) and were apart of Ben Millett's curated bundle. The background fabric is Black Kona - and I am pleased with how it turned out!
For the 90's Pipeline quilt I wanted to keep the binding subtle. It was already speaking volumes through the color and contrast as well as the added quilting. Instead of going with a wild color, I stuck with Black Kona and I can't envision this quilt any other way.
This backing fabric screams of my high school days when I was daydreaming of killing it in a rock band. I snagged the Fat Quarter bundle of Lysa Flower's Rebel Girl collection from Beehive Craft Studio. I used our Strip Quilt pattern to create the backing and love how it showcases the collection with some extra FQ's that I threw in.
I wanted this quilting to be KILLER! Lucky for me I am apart of the Longarm League and used one of the pantographs I got for free just by being a member. It's called Gridlock Max from Threaded Quilting studio. I wanted this quilting to be a show stopper and Chrysanthemum thread color made it possible!
